Orbis Africa NPC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the www.orbisafrica.co.za  website (the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you donate or register your details with us and the choices you have associated with that data.

We will only use your data to enable the processing of your donation and we do not receive or retain payment and banking details which are submitted to our payment agent.  By using the Donation facility, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible fromwww.orbisafrica.co.za.

 

Information Collection and Use

Other than information which you expressly allow us to collect, we will not retain any information relating to our Donors or volunteers. Upon consent, we may retain different types of information so as to improve our ability to raise funds and to deliver upon our ultimate goal of Orbis Africa’s work is to preserve or restore the sight of people living in highly impoverished communities in Africa.

While engaging with Orbis Africa, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service.
